Being artists, we can only elevate our spiritual realms with a more humble attitude toward divinity — the only way to portray those sacred images.

The classical western drawings and paintings use chiaroscuro—light and shadow—and skillfully applied colors to immerse the audience in the illusion of a realistic world.

My goal as an artist is to build up on what we’ve learned from the past, so we can create within our fullest potential, during the present. This applies to several aspects in life.

These are some of the objects gathered from our overseas assignments - celadon cup/saucer from Thailand, porcelain elephant from Vietnam, candleholder from Egypt, etc.

Art makes us think of things differently, or see something in a new way, or realize the beauty or significance in something that we just took for granted before. It reminds us to be mindful of our world, both its past and present times.

Their ways are rather simple and unsophisticated, but they are extremely pious. Their traditional arts are very unique.
